Where it is and parking

The market has moved to San Felasco Tech City, 13900 Tech City Circle, Alachua, about 10 miles north of Gainesville. The “441 Market” name comes from its location on U.S. 441, the market explains.

The market says there is ample parking on both sides of the facility. Restrooms are portable toilets for now, and Daft Cow Brewery opens at 9 a.m. and lets shoppers use its restrooms until permanent ones are built later in 2026.

Tickets and cost

There is no entry charge and no ticket. Each vendor sets its own prices. Every vendor takes cash, and many take checks and credit or debit cards on a mobile device.

WIC and Eldercare Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons can be used for locally grown fresh Florida fruit and vegetables from April 1 to July 31.

What to know

  • Growers only: vendors sell only what they have grown, raised or produced the main ingredient of, and the market inspects their farms and kitchens.
  • Come early. The market opens when the bell rings at 8:30 a.m. and suggests shopping before 10 a.m.; many vendors sell out before the noon close, especially of short-season crops.
  • Summer is thinner. Fewer farmers come in the summer heat, the market says.
  • What to bring: shopping bags, your list and plenty of small bills.
  • Pets: friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome on a leash or contained, and owners must clean up after them. Disruptive pets may be asked to leave.
  • No soliciting: no petitions, flyers, political or religious canvassing, and no selling or giving away animals.
  • Who runs it: a nonprofit board of directors and a market manager, not Alachua County. The name dates from the county money that helped start it.
