Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9, 2027. Gainesville’s 2027 brunches and events are not out yet. Last year the weekend included a garden tour with brunch, a plant-based farm brunch in Hawthorne, a gallery porch party downtown and a Mamma Mia! screening at the Hippodrome.

- Gainesville Garden Club Mother’s Day Garden Tour, Saturday, May 9, 2026. A tour of two private gardens from 9 a.m. to noon, then brunch with “Mom-osas” at the club, 1350 NW 75th St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., plus time in the Butterfly Garden and a small flower arrangement to take home. Tickets sold out.
- Mother’s Day Brunch Farm Experience, Sunday, May 10, 2026, Frog Song Organics, 4317 U.S. Highway 301, Hawthorne. A buffet-style, plant-based and gluten-free brunch, with the farm grounds open until 1 p.m. and a guided walking tour at 12:30 p.m.
- Raise Your Glass Wine Bar, 7415 NW Fourth Blvd., Suite 30, held a ticketed three-course Greek menu with a wine flight on Mother’s Day 2026; details are on its tickets page.
- Blackadder Brewing Company, 618 NW 60th St., held a Bubbles Brunch for Mother’s Day 2026 from noon to 4 p.m.
