How admission works
Under the school’s application procedures (PDF), families make an appointment, take an orientation tour and pick up an application at the school; applications are not online. When there are more applications than seats, a lottery puts them in rank order, and an application stays in effect until Oct. 1 of the school year applied for. The school’s enrollment page says it does not follow the district calendar.
About the school
The school’s About page describes it as Alachua County’s first charter school, founded in the 1990s, and says it was the first charter school in Florida accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Calendar and hours
The school sets its own calendar; its 2026-27 calendar (PDF) is on its website.
