Nine Gainesville restaurants and cafes whose own sites list a patio or outdoor seating, downtown, on SW 34th Street and in the northwest, with hours.
Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Gainesville’s outdoor tables are mostly downtown, around SE 1st Avenue and the 4th Ave Food Park, and along SW 34th Street near Butler Plaza and University Town Center. In the northwest, a patio cafe fills the middle of Magnolia Parke, and the Flying Biscuit has a patio on NW 16th Boulevard.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Gainesville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 9, 2026. A place is here only if its own site says it has a patio or outdoor seating; a map tag alone was not enough. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
